Technology community turns out for BarCamp/Code Camp

BarCamp and Code Camp, two major technology industry gatherings in Tampa Bay, merged into one event that debuted at the University of South Florida on Oct. 13.

Attendees of BarCamp/Code Camp Tampa 2012 took part in presentations in classrooms as well as networking in the lobby.

In one presentation, Vera Polyakova, a user experience and design specialist, talked about how principals of psychology apply to website design.

Polyakova, who has a master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology, works for Wesley Chapel-based LifeDash Inc., which produces the social media app Dashes….
